Ardbeg Grooves Committee Release (2018)

Marking Ardbeg Day at Fèis Ìle 2018, the Ardbeg Grooves – Committee Release puts a bohemian twist on classic Islay peat. In this limited-edition bottling, Ardbeg’s powerfully smoky spirit undergoes double maturation in intensely re-toasted red-wine casks—their deep char etched with “grooves” that concentrate flavour. The result is a whisky that fuses camp-fire smoke with vibrant jammy fruit in true festival style.

Why We Think You’ll Love It:

• A festival-only Committee Release created for Ardbeg Day 2018—collectible and characterful.

• Re-toasted red-wine casks carve deep “grooves” into the wood, intensifying layers of smoke, jammy fruit and spice.

• Bottled at elevated Committee strength for maximum punch and unfiltered authenticity.

• Perfect for peat lovers seeking an Ardbeg that balances island intensity with unconventional fruity sweetness.
